STUDIO JSD Julie Sanford Designs has a new studio!
Studio JSD is located at 1101 Columbus in Grand Haven, right across the street from the Grand Haven Area Arts Council, in the back of the Grand Haven Ear and Hearing building. Use the entrance on Ferry Street.
Studio JSD is the primary production location for Julie Sanford Designs as well as a full jewelry fabrication workshop/classroom facility.

BEGINNING and INTERMEDIATE METALSMITHING (5 weeks) Level: Beginner Class fee including materials 95.00
This five-week class is designed for all skill levels from beginning to advanced. By combining these skill levels students will gain a larger scope of jewelry making processes with an emphasis on beginning techniques.
▪Beginning students will be introduced to basic jewelry fabrication techniques and will be encouraged to combine these skills in the creation of unique pieces of art.
▪Intermediate students will have the opportunity to explore the many creative possibilities this medium has to offer as they refine their metalsmithing skills in an open studio format.

Custom classes can easily be arranged for groups of 4 or more. Subjects include metal clay, jewelry assembly, fused glass and metal fabrication.

KIA-KALAMAZOO - June 6, 2009 Celebrate the opening of the summer season with the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. Each year, on the first Saturday in June, the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts presents the KIA Art Fair in downtown Bronson Park, the second oldest continuously running art fair in the nation.
The 2009 KIA Art Fair will take place Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (rain or shine).
